As well as our own school based professionals we are very lucky to be a Thrive Hub. This means we have a Thrive Worker, from the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) who visits our school two days a week and is dedicated to working with our students experiencing signs of poor mental health. This means we can get support in place swiftly to ensure our students have the best possible outcomes.
We also have a School Nurse who visits the school every Monday. We can refer students to her form specific issues or students can access her ‘Drop In’ sessions on a Monday lunchtime 12.40-1.20pm.
We will also at times signpost families to external agencies for additional support and advice. Some of which are listed below;
- Wiltshire Council Educational Psychologist service
- Education Welfare Service
- Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
- Youth Offending Team
- SPLITZ Domestic Abuse Support Service
- Wiltshire Young Carers
